Salary: £44,000 per annum, Contract

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35hrs per week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated, competent, qualified, and skilled Compliance Manager (Fire Lead) with a successful track record to join our team. The role involves ensuring continued compliance by managing service providers and overseeing fire safety compliance across our estate.

Role Overview:

The Compliance Manager (Fire Lead) will be the nominated Responsible Person for fire safety. Responsibilities include managing fire risk assessments, developing fire safety policies, ensuring legal compliance, and overseeing fire safety across properties to ensure they are safe and well-maintained, complying with relevant legislation such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, and Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fire safety compliance programs across all sites.
  • Review and maintain fire risk assessments and audits.
  • Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
  • Liaise with fire authorities, insurers, and auditors.
  • Train staff on fire safety practices and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate fire incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Stay updated with fire safety laws and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and facilities management.
  • Lead fire compliance management efforts.
  • Build relationships to promote fire safety knowledge and training.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and regulations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fire safety management or compliance roles.
  • Qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE certifications, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and emergency services is a plus.
