Compliance Manager (Electrical & Lifts)

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to take ownership of electrical and lift safety across their housing portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the named responsible person, ensuring services remain safe, compliant, and resident-focused.

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading on compliance for electrical and lift services, making sure all regulatory and legislative standards are met.
  • Providing expert guidance, training, and technical support across the business.
  • Managing contractors and consultants, ensuring work is delivered on time, to budget, and to a high standard.
  • Carrying out inspections, chairing performance meetings, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Supporting procurement with performance specifications and overseeing budgets.
  • Championing resident safety, ensuring clear and timely communication.
What we're looking for:
  • Strong background in compliance management, ideally in social housing.
  • Knowledge of electrical and lift legislation, with qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ 3 in Electrical Discipline and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Experience using data to analyse performance and influence decision-making.
  • A collaborative leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (membership of NICEIC/NAPIT or a relevant body would be a bonus).
