Job summary

Kendrick Rose Ltd, Jersey-based independent trust company, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead and enhance its compliance and risk framework. You will engage with senior leadership, oversee monitoring, and guide regulatory obligations in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The role focuses on AML/CFT, compliance monitoring, policy development, and regulatory reporting, offering broad exposure and a long-term career path within an independently owned organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven compliance experience within trust/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Jersey regulatory requirements and AML obligations.
• Experience in monitoring, risk assessment and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day compliance activities and risk management.
• Lead and deliver compliance monitoring reviews.
• Provide guidance on AML/CFT and regulatory obligations.
• Support governance committees and regulatory reporting.
• Review client due diligence and identify compliance risks.
• Contribute to policy development and process improvement.
• Advise the business on compliance-related matters.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the day-to-day management and oversight of compliance activities
• Leading and delivering compliance monitoring reviews
• Providing guidance on AML/CFT, regulatory compliance and risk matters
• Supporting governance committees and regulatory reporting
• Reviewing client due diligence and identifying potential compliance risks
• Assisting with regulatory change projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting the development and enhancement of policies, procedures and controls
• Acting as a trusted adviser to the business on compliance-related matters

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Previous compliance experience within the trust, corporate or wider financial services sector
• A strong understanding of Jersey regulatory requirements and AML obligations
• Experience in compliance monitoring, risk assessment and regulatory reporting
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
• High levels of integrity, professionalism and sound judgement
