Job Description: Compliance Manager

As a Compliance Manager, you will drive the implementation and enhancement of our compliance framework, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. You will manage compliance systems, monitor regulatory changes, and educate business leaders on compliance requirements to safeguard the organization against risks and promote best practices in regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage submissions and calculations for regulatory requirements, including Climate-related Financial Disclosure Regulations 2022, WEEE, Hazmat, and Packaging Regulations.
2. Review and develop policies to ensure compliance with evolving legislation.
3. Assess business ventures for potential compliance risks.
4. Oversee compliance plans, controls assurance, and daily management of the compliance system.
5. Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Advise internal teams and business partners on compliance program implementation.
7. Ensure marketing materials meet legal and regulatory standards.
8. Provide leadership and guidance on compliance issues and incidents.
9. Collaborate with HR to enforce compliance regulations across the organization.
10. Train cross-functional teams on compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a compliance or operations role.
• Relevant regulatory experience (e.g., Privacy, RSE, AFSL licensing).
• Understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
• Ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of regulatory impacts on business.
• Analytical skills and critical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in project management and risk management.
• Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
