This large complex media organisation is renowned in the UK and more globally; known for its excellence in the service it provides people.

This Compliance Manager role is a new position reporting to the Head of Risk Management, with responsibilities including reporting and presenting to the Audit Committee and Executive level.

The role is part of a transformation across risk and compliance, providing assurance over compliance activities, horizon scanning for new regulations and trends, and monitoring compliance statistics.

Options to be based from Central London or Birmingham, with 2-3 days a week in the office.

Are you the right candidate?

  • The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, legal or audit qualification, or equivalent compliance certification.
  • Between 7-10 years of proven in-house compliance experience.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in operating an effective corporate compliance risk management programme and applying best practices, with knowledge of the external legal and regulatory environment.
  • Experience in conducting second line monitoring and assurance of compliance risk, with the ability to prepare reports for Board and Executive levels.
  • Supportive team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to handle multiple initiatives in a busy environment.
