You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining robust Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Your leadership will foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement, aligning business practices with industry best standards and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on statutory and legislative compliance across the contract, alerting managers and staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ISS internal business systems through regular audits and monitoring.
• Support the implementation of the UK HSEQ strategy, policies, and business plans across the region.
• Act as a subject matter expert on HSEQ matters, including incident investigations, culture change, and internal auditing.
• Assist in delivering and monitoring internal and client audits in line with ISO standards 45001, 9001, and 14001.
• Drive a consistent approach to HSEQ, collaborating with teams to embed the ‘Stronger, Simpler, Closer’ framework.
• Coordinate audits, insurance claims, subcontractor duty of care, and clinical adverse event procedures.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Strong compliance background with proven experience in facilities management.
• Extensive knowledge of FM industry standards and best practices.
• Resides locally to the hospital for quick response and availability.
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
