We are currently working with one of our key clients, based in East Anglia, who is recruiting for a Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. The position is due to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The salary is £45,000 - £47,000 per annum for this position.

The successful candidate must have a relevant Building Services degree and experience of leading compliance services. The candidate must have access to their own vehicle and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring and reporting on compliance across a council housing stock
• Leading on areas including; Gas Safety, EICRs, Fire Safety, Water & Legionella, Lift & LOLER, Asbestos, RIDDOR and near miss reporting
• Achieving 100% access to homes to maintain compliance for gas servicing and electrical testing, coordinating approaches with Liaison Officers and Tenancy Services Officers
• Managing a team of Surveyors and Technical Officers, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Investigating and following through to conclusion service area complaints
• Ensuring compliance inspections are conducted in a timely manner, ensuring all remedial actions are appropriately allocated and completed to a high standard
• Overseeing the recording of documentation and certification, to maintain a compliant and safe environment
• Leading on budgets and undertaking/obtaining competitive tenders and quotations for compliance works
• Preparing reports and providing technical advice across the business

Experience & Skills required:

• Experience required in the public sector
• Experience of leading compliance services
• Building services related degree or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of compliance and building safety regulations
