Overview

Futures recruitment are working with a well known manufacturing business in the West Yorkshire region who are looking to take on a compliance manager.

The successful Compliance Manager will be the go‑to person on site and expert in all matters relating to compliance, standards and risk in the factory and on site. You\'ll ensure our operations are always audit-ready, client-confident, and future-focused across both manufacturing and construction sites.

Responsibilities
  • Be the main contact for external audits and client checks — ensuring we are always inspection-ready.
  • Manage standards and certifications across the business, including quality, environmental and health & safety (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Help roll out new certifications and frameworks (e.g., cybersecurity ISO 27001, AI, and business continuity planning).
  • Work closely with IT and procurement to ensure systems and supply chains follow best practices.
  • Track business risks and support the senior leadership team in understanding and managing them.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy and safe use of technology.
  • Promote safe and responsible working practices across the factory and construction sites.
  • Verify subcontractors and suppliers meet required standards and embed quality and compliance into their work from the start.
  • Assist the procurement team in selecting responsible and reliable partners.
  • Lead a small team and support their growth.
Qualifications & Experience
