  • Previous experience in a compliance, administrative, or operational role.

Compliance Manager – Boutique Firm

Location: Central Manchester (3 days office / 2 days hybrid)

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager to join a leading boutique law firm in central Manchester, specialising in legal.

This top-ranked firm advises on some of the most high-profile and complex matters in world sport and media, acting for a global client base including clubs, athletes, governing bodies, agents, and rights holders. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Compliance Manager to support partners and fee earners across a range of internal compliance, AML, and operational functions.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting client engagement processes, including drafting engagement letters and onboarding documentation
  • Managing and maintaining Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions procedures
  • Delivering training to fee earners on compliance policies and procedures
  • Overseeing file opening and closing processes
  • Handling general compliance-related tasks and operational duties as required
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in a compliance, administrative, or operational role within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently, show initiative, and plan strategically
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams
