To assist the Compliance Manager with their duties, provide support and training to members of the Compliance Team while carrying out compliance and vetting checks on all registered candidates for assigned Recruitment Consultants.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct all necessary compliance and vetting checks on registered candidates in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support, including video registering candidates, filing, data input, maintenance, and management of information as required.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in running reports and compliance checks.
- Support, guide, and mentor Compliance Officers.
- Support the Compliance Manager in their duties.
- Ensure checks are performed on Teacher Reference Numbers, relevant qualifications, ID documents, and the applicant’s visa status.
- Complete the full process of checking and vetting documents promptly, including Criminal Record Checks/DBS Applications.
- Ensure registering candidates are provided with appropriate DBS information and understand DBS Update Service procedures.
- Verify relevant documentation for DBS applications.
- Manage applicants’ online DBS applications from initial stage to final processing and receipt, updating consultants as necessary.
- Respond to and assist with DBS applications and inquiries.
- Conduct DBS Update Service Checks.
- Confirm candidate bookings for the following day, ensuring candidates have received relevant documentation and confirmation emails.
- As Team Leader, analyze team and individual performance using statistics.
- Hold weekly 1:1 meetings with Compliance Officers to identify learning opportunities and resolve issues.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops with Compliance Officers, Resourcers, and Consultants.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Manager and Operations Director to set and evaluate targets and KPIs.
- Assist in running reports and checks to identify candidates with lapsed compliance.
- Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Compliance Manager and Operations Director.
