My client is a leading food manufacturer seeking a Compliance Lead to join their site-based technical services team. This role is within commuting distance of Cambridge and offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within the food industry. The position reports to the Technical Manager.

The Role:

1. Ensure timely updates of the QMS to keep policies, procedures, and processes accurate.
2. Maintain key strategic relationships with our grower base through strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
3. Maintain audit readiness at all times, as the site is BRC AA+ accredited.
4. Support the business's ongoing Crop Utilisation commitments by maintaining quality standards.

The Candidate:

• Practical knowledge of BRC and other customer requirements is essential.
• Awareness of agronomic systems is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working with fresh produce is desirable.
• HACCP Level 2 certification is essential; Level 4 is desirable.
