Your mission

Your mission:

  2. Coordinate investigations across joint ventures (JVs), HR, and external partners to ensure a robust, fair, and timely process.
  3. Identify root causes of compliance issues and support the design of control remediations with the risk team.
  4. Conduct and support fraud risk assessments and analytics of business processes to detect anomalies or exceptions.
  5. Deliver training and awareness sessions on investigative findings and compliance topics.
  6. Collaborate with privacy, data protection, and audit colleagues to align initiatives and share insights.
  7. Ensure a consistent approach to investigations and contribute to a strong culture of compliance and integrity across BAM UK&I.
Profile Mindset & Culture

You will:

  1. Role model BAM’s values and behaviours: sustainable, inclusive, collaborative, reliable, and ownership.
  2. Create a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  3. Be a confident, ethical professional who builds trust and acts with integrity and independence.
  4. Help develop and embed investigative best practices within the compliance framework.
Executing the results

• Set clear objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
• Maintain resilience and accountability, even in complex or high-pressure situations.
• Be seen as a knowledgeable and dependable decision-maker who balances rigour with pragmatism.
• Demonstrate fairness and consistency in every investigation and recommendation.

Relationships and Influence

• Naturally connect and build trust with colleagues at all levels.
• Communicate clearly and with purpose – listening well and influencing effectively.
• Inspire confidence in others through your values, expertise, and collaborative spirit.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 6 years of experience in compliance, investigations, financial analysis, or auditing in a corporate environment.
• A relevant qualification in law, risk, compliance, auditing or a related field.
• Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.
• Adept at working with senior leaders, investigating sensitive matters, and influencing positive change.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with a business-focused mindset.
• Passionate about building a culture of openness, learning, and accountability.
