Job Description

Overview

Execute high-priority and complex projects for the firm by utilizing best-in-class project management skills and a strong working knowledge of financial services and operational processes. This role offers an opportunity to lead and deliver key cross-functional projects, engaging at all stages of the project lifecycle.

The position is based in London within the Implementation and Execution Office of the Office of Regulatory Relations. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for executing strategic projects that support the firm’s priorities and deliver impactful revenue, risk management, regulatory compliance, and efficiency improvements. Using effective program delivery methods, technical expertise, and stakeholder management skills, this team provides senior management with the execution capabilities needed for their most complex projects.

This role is a Traditional Project Manager - Non Technical. Initially, the focus will be on a regulatory program where you will contribute to a multi-year strategic initiative. This role will allow you to gain detailed knowledge across multiple areas within the firm.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Project planning and execution: Assist in developing and managing project plans for regulatory remediation efforts, including scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder management: Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to facilitate remediation efforts and communicate progress effectively.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and issues related to remediation projects and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Audit Preparedness: Ensure remediation projects are audit-ready, maintaining clear documentation of activities.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, prepare status reports, and summarize activities for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of remediation activities, including issue tracking, action plans, and outcomes.
  • Materials Preparation: Prepare materials for working groups and committees, including dashboards and presentations.
  • Problem Tracking: Conduct detailed problem tracking, ensuring resolution and completion of actions by deadlines.
  • Supporting Teams: Assist teams with best practices, tools, dashboards, and other enablers.

Skills and Experience:

2 to 6 years of relevant experience, including:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects (non-technical) and meet deadlines.
  • Drive, motivation, resilience, and initiative.
  • Ability to build relationships across divisions.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented attitude, encouraging contributions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for senior audiences.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and MS Excel skills.
