Overview

The Diagnostics Business Area (BA) Support team is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program for Roche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS). The team supports both the RDS BA and its associated RDS Customer Areas. The main goal is to build a sustainable governance and strategic framework that promotes growth. The team also works to foster a culture of integrity, manage risks, and continuously improve compliance processes. We are seeking a Compliance Expert to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide highest quality compliance advice that includes the identification, management and improvement of key compliance risks across the RDS BA and RDS Customer Areas to support risk management and compliance assurance.
  • Support and collaborate with relevant contacts and business teams on compliance projects and initiatives.
  • Design and implement training programs for the BA, Customer Areas, and external business partners.
  • Drive standardization and a "one Roche" approach by applying above-market compliance rules and interpretations.
  • Support the network of internal compliance professionals to drive strategic goals.
  • Coach and catalyze local compliance professionals to co-create value with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the oversight and support of compliance investigations within the RDS BA.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Roche's internal rules, industry codes, and relevant laws to keep compliance programs up to date.
Qualifications
  • A university degree in Legal, Finance, or a related area, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4 to 5 years of general experience in Audit, Compliance, or a relevant business role, with a strong background in healthcare compliance.
  • Solid knowledge of international and regional compliance policies and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage complexity.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills, with a collaborative, "can-do" attitude.
