National Gas is seeking a COMAH Compliance Engineer for the Bacton Gas Terminal to maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance on a site-based basis. You will help protect people, assets, and reliability of critical energy infrastructure.

£55,500 to £65,500 + up to 6% bonus

As a COMAH Compliance Engineer at Bacton Gas Terminal, you’ll provide expert guidance across safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance, helping protect people, assets, and the reliability of critical energy infrastructure.
Bacton Gas Terminal plays a vital role in the East Region, connecting strategically important infrastructure to the wider gas transmission network. Every day, the decisions made on site support safe, reliable operations and contribute to energy security across Great Britain.
This is a role with real operational impact. You’ll help ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, and company requirements while driving continuous improvement in safety performance, environmental management, and operational excellence. Working alongside operational teams, regulators, emergency services, and external stakeholders, you’ll be a trusted voice for safety and compliance, helping create a workplace where people can perform at their best and go home safely every day.
