About The Role

Help keep one of the UK’s most important gas terminals safe, compliant, and operating at its best.

As a COMAH Compliance Engineer at Bacton Gas Terminal, you’ll provide expert guidance across safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance, helping protect people, assets, and the reliability of critical energy infrastructure.

  • Support emergency preparedness, policy development, new asset projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Produce and analyse KPI reports to track compliance performance and drive continuous improvement

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (with a willingness to work towards NEBOSH Diploma)

  • Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience

  • Understanding of gas transmission, process industries, energy, utilities, or similar sectors
