Job Description
Our client, operating within the housing sector, is seeking a Compliance Data Management Auditor to join their team immediately for an initial period of 4 weeks.
The successful candidate will ensure the company's compliance with statutory duties, obligations, and regulations relevant to its maintenance business within the Housing/Property sector.
The role involves reviewing and enforcing compliance with standards and regulations imposed by external requirements and through internal audits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an annual audit plan to ensure effective risk management related to property compliance.
- Conduct regular audits on both internal and external contractors against established processes.
- Collaborate with teams to identify process gaps.
- Examine and analyze records, reports, practices, and documentation to ensure compliance, and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls.
Asset Compliance
- Assist in designing work programs for servicing and establishing internal compliance standards for delivery teams.
- Manage the data and information generated by the compliance processes.
- Support the implementation and management of the Asset Compliance Policy.
- Assist with compliance tasks outside the scope of SLA (e.g., FRA, asbestos).
Information Management
- Update the company's stock condition and compliance database.
Reporting
- Create clear audit reports highlighting non-conformance and best practices.
Research
- Undertake research projects triggered by internal audits and sector analysis, involving data collection, validation, analysis, and interpretation (economic, market, demographic, social surveys, horizon scanning, etc.).
- Research best practices within and outside the sector.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in compliance auditing and housing systems.
- Proficiency with databases and IT skills.
- Ability to collate, manipulate, analyze, and present data clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
Working Hours
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during office hours.
- Salary: £33,000, paid weekly by Workshop Recruitment.
