Job description

An international FMCG organisation is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support a 14-month FTC maternity cover.

The role involves providing legal support to businesses operating in the UK & Ireland region.

The position is based in West London with a hybrid working model.

Salary range: £55,000 - £65,000

Requirements: Availability on short notice.

Responsibilities:

• Manage legal risk and compliance for the UK & Ireland region.
• Oversee compliance queries and maintain the legal compliance platform.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements (distribution, supply, sales, IT, procurement, supply chain).
• Apply Governance, Risk, and Compliance standards.
• Develop in-house training on compliance topics such as Anti-trust, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, dawn raids, Data Protection, GSCOP, and other Group policies.

Candidate Profile:

• UK qualified or significant UK experience.
• 2+ PQE in-house experience in FMCG or retail.
• Experience in compliance and commercial contracts.
