Job description

An international FMCG organisation is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support a 14-Month FTC maternity cover.

The role involves providing legal support to businesses operating in the UK & Ireland Region.

The position is based in West London with a hybrid working model.

Salary range: £55-65K

Requirements: Availability on short notice.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage legal risk and compliance for UK & Ireland, overseeing compliance queries and maintaining the legal compliance platform.
2. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as distribution, supply, sales, IT, procurement, and supply chain contracts.
3. Apply Governance, Risk, and Compliance standards.
4. Develop in-house training on compliance topics like Anti-trust, Anti-bribery and corruption, Modern slavery, Dawn raids, Data protection, GSCOP, and other Group policies.

Ideal candidate:

• UK qualified or with significant UK experience.
• 2+ PQE in-house experience in FMCG or retail sectors.
• Experience in compliance and commercial contracts.
