Job description

An international FMCG organisation is seeking a Compliance Counsel to support on a 14-Month FTC maternity cover.

The role involves providing legal support to businesses operating in the UK & Ireland Region.

The role is based in West London with a hybrid working model.

June 2025 start date.

The role:
  • Working with the team to manage legal risk and compliance for the UK & Ireland Region.
  • Oversee compliance related queries and be responsible for maintaining the legal compliance platform.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements such as distribution, supply, sales, information technology, procurement, and supply chain agreements.
  • Responsible for applying Governance, Risk and Compliance standards.
  • Responsible for developing in-house training on compliance related topics in areas such as Anti-trust, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, dawn raids, Data Protection, GSCOP, and other Group policies.
The ideal candidate:
  • UK qualified or significant UK experience.
  • 3+ PQE In-house experience in FMCG or retail.
  • Compliance, regulatory and commercial experience.
  • Experience with GDPR/DP, Anti-bribery and Anti-trust.
