Job summary

Humdinger is seeking a Compliance Coordinator for its Bromborough site to manage audits, actions, and data, ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement. The role supports multiple departments and external auditors to uphold food safety and retailer standards.

You will lead the internal audit programme, maintain iAuditor systems, and deliver training while driving improvements across processes and KPI reporting. 37.5 hours, 36k salary, closing date 30 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Internal auditing experience is essential.
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and retailer codes of practice (BRC) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site internal audit programme including GMP and BRC-related audits.
• Keep iAuditor templates, actions, issues, and product information up to date.
• Monitor non-conformances and drive corrective actions with robust root cause analysis.
• Analyse trends and present weekly and monthly compliance reports.
• Support retailer code-of-practice gap analysis across the site.
• Deliver iAuditor training and promote paperless manufacturing processes.
• Prepare site KPI data and taste-panel trend analysis.
• Collaborate with Technical, QA, Production, and external auditors.

Compliance Coordinator

Help us turn compliance standards into everyday good practice.

Are you experienced in food manufacturing compliance and confident managing audits, actions and data? We are looking for a practical and organised Compliance Coordinator to join our Technical team at Humdinger in Bromborough. You will help keep the site audit-ready, support colleagues to close actions effectively, and use compliance information to identify opportunities for improvement.

Position type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30

Pay range: £36,000

Breaks: 30 minutes

Closing date: Friday 30th October 2026

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site internal audit programme, including GMP, glass and plastic, fabrication, retailer (e.g., Tesco, Waitrose, M&S) and BRC-related audits.
• Keep iAuditor templates, actions, issues and product information accurate and up to date.
• Monitor non-conformances, follow up corrective actions and support robust root cause and preventative action activity.
• Analyse recurring trends by area and issue type, then present clear weekly and monthly compliance reports.
• Complete internal audit risk assessments and ensure audits are completed by trained, independent colleagues.
• Support retailer code-of-practice gap analysis and help embed new requirements across the site.
• Deliver iAuditor training and support the development of compliant paperless manufacturing processes.
• Complete site validation activity, including fryer and oven heat-mapping projects.
• Prepare site KPI information, QFSI dashboard data and taste-panel trend analysis.
• Work with Technical, QA, Production, Engineering, NPD, Supply Chain, laboratories, customers and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Internal auditing experience and/or knowledge is essential
• Food Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, BRC requirements and retailer or customer codes of practice.
• Confidence communicating expectations clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, planning and follow-through, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital audit systems and reporting data.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting trends and improvement actions.
• Food Hygiene or Food Safety Level 2 or willing to complete.
