Salary: Annual salary £24,310 up to £29,122 per annum (career graded post).

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Due to continued growth, another exciting opportunity has opened up to join our expanding Compliance Team.

Were looking for a well-organised and proactive Compliance Co-ordinator to support the delivery of excellent compliance services including essential areas like gas, electrical safety, water hygiene fire safety, damp, and mould. Youll play a pivotal role in protecting our customers and ensuring our homes remain safe, well-maintained, and fully compliant.

What youll be doing.

  • managing and updating compliance systems with accurate, timely data to support statutory landlord safety obligations.
  • coordinating service and inspections across all compliance areas such as lifts, gas, electrical systems, water hygiene and fire safety.
  • ensuring timely completion of works, monitoring contractor performance, and chasing overdue certificates or access certification.
  • producing and presenting KPI data and exception reports.
  • working closely with colleagues, contractors, and customers to resolve access issues in respect to service delivery.

To be a successful Compliance Co-ordinator, here at Bernicia, you will have.

  • experience of working in compliance, repairs, or maintenance function.
  • experience of administrating data, documentation management and maintaining accurate records.
  • excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Essential criteria:

  • use and application of relevant data management systems and related databases used for compliance related work.
  • ability to develop, interrogate and present detailed and accurate performance management information.
  • able to work under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines
  • Level 4 VRQ Diploma in Asset and Building Management Compliance
  • Level 4 Gas Safety Management in Social Housing
  • Level 4 VRQ Certificate in Electrical Safety Management in Social Housing
  • Lift/Legionella/Asbestos Safety Compliance Management
  • BOHS P405 & P407 Management of Asbestos
  • BOHS Certificate of Competence in Legionella
  • FPA Certificate in Fire Management
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
  • National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety

Desirable criteria:

  • Level 4 VRQ Diploma in Asset and Building Management Compliance
  • Level 4 Gas Safety Management in Social Housing
  • Level 4 VRQ Certificate in Electrical Safety Management in Social Housing
