Job Description:

Our client is a very successful compliance consultancy. Most of its asset management clients are FCA regulated, with an increasing number also SEC and NFA/CFTC regulated.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Primary compliance resource for a number of clients
2. Leading monitoring reviews both on-site and remotely
3. Implementation of policies as applicable
4. Assisting with background screening checks and liaising with the FCA
5. Provision of compliance training, both on-site and remotely
6. Providing compliance advice
7. Review and approval of financial promotion materials
8. Updating on regulatory changes and their impact on clients’ business
9. Supporting senior managers where required
10. Building and developing client relationships

Key Skills / Experience

1. Experience within a compliance or management consultancy, regulatory hosting firm, asset manager (including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and other alternatives), or a regulator such as the FCA
2. Thorough knowledge of the FCA Handbook
3. Experience of compliance monitoring or similar roles
4. Ability to implement regulatory solutions to meet compliance needs
5. Strong client-facing skills
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
