Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our compliance team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in our London offices. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

  • Join a growing, highly skilled compliance team that strives to ensure best practices and offers excellent training and career development opportunities.
  • This role partners with the Marsh business to oversee and advise on compliance policies, procedures, systems, controls, and governance.
  • We are seeking a compliance Business Partner from an Insurance Broker or Insurer background.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a trusted advisor for regulatory or governance queries, providing guidance to the business.
  • Attend compliance meetings, provide updates on regulatory developments, risks, and actions.
  • Develop effective policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Advise colleagues on compliance issues, including new business models, products, and processes.
  • Maintain open communication between compliance and the business regarding initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support impact assessments and implementation.
  • Collaborate within the Advisory team, sharing knowledge and supporting others.
  • Conduct periodic health checks to oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.

Requirements:

  • Experience in compliance within the Insurance industry, either with an Insurer or Broker.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with business leaders.
  • Deep knowledge of the FCA Handbook - Principles, Rules, and Guidelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • ACII or other relevant Insurance industry qualification.
  • Project management experience.
  • University Degree or recognized industry accreditation (e.g., ICA Diploma).
