Qualifications

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Compliance team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in our London offices. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Mercer is seeking a Compliance Business Partner to work across the Mercer Wealth business areas and support the Head of Advisory Compliance. The candidate should ideally have an Investment Advisory / Investment Management background.

We will count on you to:

  • Work with the business to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for regulatory or governance queries, providing guidance and steer to the business
  • Attend regular business and governance meetings and provide Compliance updates on regulatory developments, risks, and relevant topics and actions
  • Provide Compliance advice and challenge colleagues on regulatory issues and risks related to their business or function, including new business models, products, and processes
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory developments, assess impacts, and advise on challenges and implementation

What you need to have:

  • Experience in Compliance within the Investments industry, either with an investment advisory/consulting firm or an investment/wealth manager
  • Good knowledge of investment products, especially collective vehicles
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with business leaders
  • Deep knowledge of the FCA Handbook – Principles, Rules, and Guidelines
  • Commercial awareness and focus on proportionate regulation application within investments
