The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Compliance Auditor Level 3 to join our Governance function here at Staffline, supporting our Recruitment operations across Great Britain. You’ll be field-based, auditing sites within your assigned region to ensure compliance with GLAA standards, BEIS Conduct Regulations, and Staffline’s internal policies.
This role plays a vital part in upholding our Compliance Charter and ensuring operational teams maintain legal and ethical best practices.
What you’ll do as a Compliance Auditor
In this role, you’ll:
Audit Staffline sites in line with the company’s annual audit programme
Conduct in-person preparation time assessments for Minimum Wage compliance
Review and validate site-completed assessments, flagging any material issues
Support operational teams with compliance queries — from Right to Work and AWR to Job/Client Cards
Record and escalate compliance incidents, ensuring follow-up actions are taken
Assist in external audits: document preparation, Q&A sessions, and follow-up support
Communicate internal policy updates and changes in legislation
Support moderation, standardisation, and continuous improvement within the compliance function

Essential
Experience in the recruitment sector, with good knowledge of relevant legislation
Strong communication skills — confident via phone, video, and in person
Sharp attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing information
Proactive, curious, and comfortable researching answers independently
Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
Flexible and resilient when dealing with changing priorities
Desirable
Experience in an audit or administrative role
Experience working with or influencing senior stakeholders
