Responsibilities

• Sicherstellen der Produktverfolgbarkeit und Einhaltung der Spezifikationen.
• Überwachung der Verpackungsprozesse zur Einhaltung der Produktionspläne.

Job description

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and a leader in our industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today's busy consumers. Working closely with customers across retail, food service, and B2B, our bespoke chicken and turkey products offer creative and flavorful lunchtime solutions, including street food-inspired dishes, superfood salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and more.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our busy Production team in the Packing department as a Compliance Auditor.

The key elements of the role are:

• Ensure product traceability is always maintained.
• Fully understand and effectively operate the labelling machines, metal detector, and vision system.
• Ensure correct batch codes, use-by dates, and stock routines are followed and recorded on audit sheets, including scale calibration.
• Conduct and record MAP checks.
• Perform all CCP checks as per training, including metal detection.
• Ensure first-line packing seals are intact.
• Visually inspect products and report non-conformances immediately to senior management or technical team.
• Ensure products meet all specifications in terms of packaging, weight, and palletisation for dispatch.
• Supervise packing processes to meet production plans and deadlines, delegating responsibilities effectively.
• Audit all dispatch paperwork for compliance before submission.
• Optimize time and resource efficiency, utilizing staff, machinery, and plant resources effectively.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and reduce waste costs where possible.
• Guide and train new starters.
• Ensure packed products meet specified standards (weight, pack size, etc.).

Shift is 4 days on, 4 days off, from 5 am to 5 pm.
