Oliver James is partnered with a well-established Insurance Broker, recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to join their new City of London office. The role requires working flexibly in the office 2 days per week.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a year's experience in insurance and compliance to develop skills and advance their career. You will gain valuable exposure and face new challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulation and law changes.
  • Handle regulatory reporting and returns.
  • Advise the business on regulatory challenges and changes.
  • Assist with horizon scanning and deep dives.
  • Prepare compliance reports and documentation.
  • Participate in key compliance training.
  • Review compliance policy documents.
  • Support the wider compliance team with ad-hoc admin duties.
Key Skills
  • Experience in compliance within insurance is essential.
