The Role - Compliance and Training Supervisor

Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Compliance and Training Supervisor for our client, a global fresh produce business based in Dartford, Kent. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that compliance processes are consistently followed, training requirements are clearly understood and delivered, and that continuous improvement is embedded across all operational practices.

The Candidate

Suitable candidates will have experience working in a Fresh Produce, FMCG, or Quality function, ideally in a fast-paced factory or packhouse environment. You will have a hands-on approach, a good eye for detail, and the ability to support and drive consistent standards across compliance, training, and operations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside strong IT literacy and ideally some familiarity with Microsoft D365.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure all compliance and operational documentation is completed accurately and on time
2. Deliver and embed training across teams, ensuring it is understood and consistently applied
3. Promote standardised working practices to ensure consistency across operations
4. Identify areas where process flow or working methods can be improved
5. Support the Quality and Production teams in meeting and maintaining customer standards
6. Ensure due diligence requirements are met throughout the business
7. Create and maintain feedback loops to support continuous improvement
8. Support team leaders and managers by promoting best practice in compliance and training
