Salary Negotiable: £50-60,000

Location: Peterborough-based office, with flexible options for hybrid working (minimum one day a week in the office)

Our client is a successful and respected directly authorised life brokerage. Their directors have been working alongside protection providers for over 30 years, and together with their advisors, they possess extensive market knowledge.

As part of their growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Compliance / T&C Manager to oversee and proactively manage the protection advisers operating under their authorisation, along with five direct reports. The role involves providing initial training, ongoing support, and guidance to new and existing advisers within the client's companies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with leadership and coaching qualities that will enable the team to reach their full potential.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience within an advice background in the protection market
  • Proven leadership abilities, including coaching and supporting development needs on an individual basis
  • Ability to lead by example, create vision, motivate, and inspire others to achieve goals
  • Experience working within an insurance-based compliance, quality, and complaints environment at a similar level
  • Good knowledge of FCA and FOS guidelines, especially ICOBs, DISP, CIDRA 2012, and DPA 2018
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
