Who are we looking for?
In this role, you’ll lead the rollout and optimisation of systems like EBS and OneFile, support staff with training and troubleshooting, and ensure our data and compliance processes are audit-ready. Your work will directly support improved outcomes for our students and apprentices.
What will I be doing as Compliance and Systems Support Lead?
Lead and support system use (EBS, OneFile), including training and troubleshooting.
Implement digital compliance tracking and reporting tools.
Monitor compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and awarding body standards.
Develop user guides and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure systems are functional and compliant.
Act as a compliance point of contact and support internal audits.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
· Prepare and deliver operational and compliance reports to stakeholders, including SLT.
· Monitor and support operational compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and awarding body standards.
· Make independent operational decisions concerning compliance processes and workflow improvements.
· Recommend and implement policy and process modifications within the compliance function.
· Act as the compliance escalation point for internal education team
· Excellent written communication skills and experience in producing operational or compliance reports.
· Experience in proposing and implementing changes to operational and compliance-related policies and workflows.
· Ability to work with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on new technology projects within the Education directorate.
Requirements for this role:
Experience in an education or training environment.
Strong understanding of DfE, Ofsted, and awarding body compliance.
Hands-on experience with EBS, OneFile, or similar platforms.
Ability to deliver training and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Excellent written and reporting skills.
Level 3 AET or equivalent qualification.
Desirable: SQL/reporting skills or willingness to learn.
A DBS is required for this role
