Bayhealth Medical Center is Central and Southern Delaware’s healthcare leader with hospitals in Dover and Milford, as well as stand-alone Emergency Departments in Smyrna and a hybrid Emergency Department and Urgent Care in Milton. Salary Range: $81,843.84 - $126,846.72 yearly
A licensed Pharmacist responsible for ensuring the Pharmacy provides the highest standards regarding patient and staff safety. Ensuring the Pharmacy complies with all Joint Commission and other Federal and State regulatory agencies overseeing Bayhealth. The incumbent is responsible for investigating all Safety First Reports and responding appropriately.
Education: Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Credential: Licensed Pharmacist
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Hospital Pharmacy; preferred 8 years in an acute hospital setting with managerial experience. Knowledge of standards and regulations from The Joint Commission, Delaware State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, USP, and ASHP related to medication safety and compliance. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, personnel management, and budgets.
Education: Master Degree in Business Administration or related field
