Job description

Shape the future of compliance and customer care in the insurance industry with a role that makes a real difference.

We are currently partnering with one of our key clients in their search for a Compliance and Complaints Co-ordinator. This is a newly created role that’s ideal for someone with experience in complaints/compliance within insurance who really wants to make an impact in their next role! The Compliance and Complaints Co-ordinator role will be 70% complaints management and 30% compliance co-ordination.

Flawless organisational and communication skills, as well as emotional maturity, are absolutely essential for this position!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management:
    • Support compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated.
    • Help maintain a culture of ethical compliance and customer fairness.
  2. Customer Complaints Management:
    • Manage the complaints process, ensuring timely and fair resolution in line with FCA DISP requirements.
    • Identify trends and root causes and suggest process improvements.
  3. Vulnerable Customer Support:
    • Ensure the company’s processes meet FCA guidelines for vulnerable customers.

The Ideal Compliance and Complaints Co-ordinator:

  • You MUST have experience working within the insurance industry, ideally within compliance and/or complaints departments.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations, including DISP, vulnerable customers, and GDPR.
  • Proven experience in handling customer complaints and DSARs.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams.
