We are working with a leading European Private Debt Investor looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their team.

About our client

Our client is a leading private debt investor operating across Europe. The firm is experiencing growth and is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support their compliance and regulatory functions.

What the job involves

  1. Assist the Legal and Compliance Director in ensuring compliance with UK and German regulatory requirements.
  2. Handle regulatory filings to the FCA and maintain compliance records.
  3. Prepare regulatory filings and reports specific to German requirements.
  4. Administer the compliance monitoring programme.
  5. Support internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
  6. Manage employee compliance matters (PADs, gifts and entertainment, outside business interests) and SM&CR certification process.
  7. Support the creation, implementation, and review of compliance policies and procedures tailored to UK and Germany.
  8. Prepare regular compliance reports and updates for senior management, covering UK and cross-border obligations.
  9. Provide support to internal stakeholders.
  10. Deliver training for new joiners, design annual compliance training, and promote compliance awareness across jurisdictions.
  11. Monitor regulatory developments in the UK and Germany.
  12. Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance Director to support compliance activities in France and Luxembourg as needed.
  13. Monitor regulatory updates in these jurisdictions and adapt policies and procedures accordingly.

Who we are looking for

  1. Experience in a compliance role within financial services, preferably in private credit or asset management.
  2. Strong understanding of FCA regulations.
  3. Familiarity with German compliance frameworks is advantageous but not required.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  6. Proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
