Qualifications

d3t and Coconut Lizard are at the cutting edge of technology and creativity, delivering co-development video game services to our triple-A clients across the globe. Our studios, part of the Keywords Studios Group, work on multiple exciting projects at any one time offering the team plenty of variety and involvement. Our studio projects have included: EA Sports FC 24, Hogwart’s Legacy, Vampire: The Masquerade - Blood Hunt, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Alan Wake Remastered, Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Assetto Corsa Competizione.

We work with very high-profile clients on amazing game titles and are now seeking to add a Compliance Analyst role within our QA department to increase our capabilities of supporting development.

Our studios are based near Daresbury (Cheshire) and Newcastle (Tyne & Wear), where we offer an amazingly professional, fun and supportive working environment. The Role – Compliance Analyst

The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, full execution and reporting on compliance checks for multiple gaming platforms. The Compliance Analyst will be a part of an experienced QA team and will work alongside team members from all disciplines, to ensure products are thoroughly tested and ready for release.

Responsibilities
  1. Be responsible for the test strategy of multiple products to ensure compliance with the required standard across all supported platforms.
  2. Ensure all compliance issues are identified, thoroughly investigated and accurately reported.
  3. Update compliance issues when required to ensure they’re accurate and relevant given the current project status.
  4. Complete functional testing when required, and as part of the preparation for compliance checks.
  5. Work with test teams to run suitable test cases.
  6. Ensure all staff have the required information to aid with the gathering of compliance information when required.
  7. Research for all platform compliance standards and the associated requirements.
  8. Creation of focused training programs for staff to learn compliance standards and how to effectively run checks on them.
  9. Maintain documentation and a knowledge base for compliance standards and platform requirements.
  10. Be a point of contact for all studio members for compliance related issues.

We offer a flexible working hours policy – this role can be hybrid or studio based at either of our studio sites - d3t (Runcorn, Cheshire) or Coconut Lizard (Gateshead, Tyne & Wear).

Initial interviews will be held by video call with additional interviews at the studios, dependent on location.

Experience & Requirements
  1. Firsthand experience of the software development lifecycle within the games industry, ideally with testing a product throughout the entire QA lifecycle.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Testing Processes and Methodologies.
  3. Minimum 1 year focused on Compliance QA testing experience.
  4. Strong knowledge of Jira and a test case tracking system such as Test Rail and Xray.
  5. The capability to assess a range of information and the creation of detailed reports.
  6. Demonstrates proactive approach to internal processes and workload.
  7. Computer literacy.
  8. Committed teamwork ethic.
  9. Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics.
  10. Experience of client communication.
