Overview

Job Title: Compliance Analyst

Department: Risk & Compliance

Reports to: MLRO

Location: Letchworth (this role requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the office)

Purpose of the Role

Support the MLRO and Compliance team in meeting AML and regulatory obligations. The role covers monitoring, admin, and advisory tasks to help strengthen the compliance framework and manage financial crime risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with KYC oversight, financial crime queries, investigations, and reporting.
  • Monitor compliance inbox and handle queries.
  • Maintain compliance logs, records, and files.
  • Prepare management information for reporting.
  • Support horizon scanning and regulatory updates.
  • Contribute to compliance and financial crime training.
  • Support data protection tasks.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business.
Key Relationships
  • Internal: MLRO, Risk & Compliance team, wider business staff.
  • External: Auditors and industry working groups.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in compliance or financial crime (first- or second-line).
