Complex Nurse Specialist - Paediatric
Location:Home-based with travel across the West Midlands
Salary: £43 - £47k dep on exp
Contract:Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Complex Nurse Specialist to join our Clinical Team at Acuity Care Group.This role is ideal for a qualified paediatric nurse—or a general nurse with significant complex paediatric experience—who wants to make a direct impact on the lives of children with complex needs across the West Midlands.

You will play a pivotal role in mobilising and maintaining complex care packages, conducting clinical assessments, creating care plans, and training and supporting our care teams to deliver safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical assessments to support the mobilisation of care packages.

  • Develop person-centred care plans and risk assessments.

  • Deliver hands-on clinical training and sign-off competencies for support workers.

  • Conduct regular clinical audits and documentation reviews.

  • Provide ongoing clinical oversight for existing care packages through visits and MDT collaboration.

  • Lead by example, supporting a culture of quality, care, and compliance.

Requirements

  • NMC-registered Nurse (Paediatric preferred; RGN with relevant experience considered).

  • Proven experience in paediatric complex care including tracheostomy and ventilator management.

  • Confident working independently, managing your diary and travelling across the region.

  • Sound understanding of CQC regulations and a commitment to best practice.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and documentation skills.
