We support customers facing issues such as homelessness, domestic abuse, mental health challenges, and substance misuse. Our services include assistance with accessing healthcare, maximizing income, budgeting, debt management, and other support services. We are offering an opportunity for a Complex Needs Support Worker to join our team for the Next Steps Accommodation Programme in Exeter. This role allows you to make a meaningful difference as part of a friendly, supportive, and professional team.
While based at Morwenna Court in Exeter, the role requires travel to customers’ homes to provide outreach and one-to-one support. A key goal is to help customers move towards sustainable independent living.
Experience working with homeless or socially excluded individuals and a good understanding of safeguarding are desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. The emphasis is on personal qualities and attitude suitable for the role.
You will be part of a small team dedicated to fostering positive, respectful relationships with customers as they work towards independence.
