Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs, and gambling. We’re looking for a self-confident and energetic individual with a good understanding of gambling, substance misuse, and health-related issues to provide vital support for individuals with gambling-related needs.
Working flexibly across the community and within multi-agency partnership settings on an outreach basis, you will engage people in various interventions using a person-centred approach. The role involves addressing holistic support needs, including employment issues, family interventions, exploitation, health, domestic abuse, and rehabilitation support. The goal is to empower clients to reduce risk, increase resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.
To succeed, you need significant experience engaging effectively with clients in addictions or social care settings, knowledge of outreach settings and the functional model, and the ability to liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals. A flexible approach, initiative, good IT skills (particularly Microsoft Office), and willingness to travel are essential.

We have two positions available covering Telford and Shropshire. This is a permanent full-time role requiring 37 hours per week.
