Job summary

First Option Healthcare is seeking a compassionate HCA to deliver 1:1 care at a child’s home in Colchester. The role focuses on high-quality, person-centred support for a 9-year-old girl with complex needs, ensuring dignity and independence within the home environment.

We value bubbly, energetic individuals with experience in community or hospital settings. Monday to Friday 07:00–16:00; Sat/Sun 07:00–15:00 shifts, with a strong emphasis on safety, family collaboration and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience caring for children with complex needs in home, hospital or community settings.
• Ability to provide person-centred, dignity-driven support in clients' homes.
• Must be bubbly, compassionate and energetic with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home.
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members.
• Make sure care plans are followed and client dignity and respect is practiced.

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You'll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a bubbly, compassionate & energetic HCA with previous experience of providing person centred care and quality care for children with complex needs in the community.

Our client is a 9-year-Old Female who lives at home with family based in Colchester CO2.

Shift Details: Monday - Friday - 07:00 - 16:00 Saturday - Sun 07:00 - 15:00

You will need to have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with children with complex needs in a hospital or community setting
