Job Description:
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The working week will be 40 hours from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We offer a flexible hybrid working model, with options for remote work and occasional visits to our London (Victoria), Maidstone, and Winchester offices.
We are seeking a Complex Case and Innovation Manager to join our Argenti care technology partnership’s Kent service. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the largest and most ambitious care technology services in the country, working directly with partner organizations, council managers, social workers, and practitioners to manage and innovate care technology solutions for vulnerable individuals.
- Oversee our technology roster, collaborating with Argenti partners Red Alert and Appello.
- Identify and evaluate new equipment to enhance our services.
- Test and assess promising equipment and applications for suitability.
- Manage pathways and services for users with complex needs, including escalated activities.
- Review referrals and installation plans, coordinating with partners and council.
- Assist in operations management alongside the Service Manager and partners.
- Update policies and procedures in collaboration with partners and Kent County Council.
- Conduct quality assurance activities.
- Lead service development and innovation initiatives, including annual innovation sprints and training support.
- Design new pathways for different user cohorts in partnership with Kent County Council.
Qualifications
Necessary skills and attributes:
- Experience supporting vulnerable people in health or social care.
- Experience with care technology or related technologies.
- Motivated to support independence and quality of life.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and producing reports.
- Technical proficiency and aptitude for learning new technology.
- Collaborative team player with good organization and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving, adaptability, resilience, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Desirable:
- Experience working with councils in adult social care.
- Experience with care technology installation and use.
- Experience with monitoring organizations and developing service pathways.
