Job summary
Libertatem Healthcare Group in Devizes, Wiltshire, is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to assist an adult client living with the effects of a spinal injury and complex healthcare needs.
You will provide daily and overnight support, personal care, mobility assistance (including hoists), medication administration, and collaborative care with clinicians and family to promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting adults with complex care needs.
- Experience with spinal injury care, tracheostomy care, epilepsy, neurological conditions, or rehabilitation support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient and empathetic approach.
Responsibilities
- Support daily and overnight routines.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide mobility support, including the use of hoists and specialist equipment.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
- Monitor and report any changes in condition or wellbeing.
- Provide emotional support, encouragement, and companionship.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Support the client to participate in activities and interests they enjoy.
