Complex Care Support Worker *24 and 12 hour shifts*, Devizes

We are seeking experienced Complex Care Support Workers to support a male spinal injury client in Devizes. The client has a tracheostomy requiring cough assist and suctioning, urostomy, colostomy, epilepsy, and Alzheimer's Disease. Further details will be provided to successful candidates.

Shift patterns include:

• 24-hour shifts (8am-8am), 2 per week
• 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm), 2 per week

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting independence and rehabilitation
• Assisting with complex needs and daily activities
• Looking after the client's dog
• Providing personalized, confidential support per care plans
• Following care plans and collaborating with healthcare professionals
• Promoting self-care and independence
• Assisting with mobility, feeding, hygiene, and dressing
• Managing neurogenic bladder and bowel care
• Helping with domestic tasks, shopping, and meal prep
• Attending appointments and providing emotional support
• Using moving and handling equipment safely
• Monitoring skin integrity and health conditions
• Administering medication as per care plans
• Supporting rehabilitation activities
• Responding to health changes and documenting progress

We provide full training, supervision, weekly pay, and holiday pay. A full DBS check is required, and COVID-19 vaccinations may be mandatory depending on client needs.
