Job description

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside a client with complex needs in Oxford. The role involves supporting a gentleman in his 40s who has complex needs due to a brain injury, including mobility issues, loss of vision on the right side and PEG feeding. The successful candidate will have experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

Main duties of the job

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you'll be responsible for supporting the client with daily routines, personal hygiene, mobility, medication administration, and emotional support. You'll collaborate with healthcare professionals and the client's family to ensure a comprehensive and personalized care plan. The role requires a compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Hours

Pay: £16.45 per hour weekdays, £17.48 per hour Saturdays, £18.51 per hour Sundays.

Hours: Up to 40 per week (08:00 – 20:00)

Role Description

You’ll be supporting a gentleman in his 40s with complex needs due to a brain injury, including mobility issues, loss of vision on the right side and PEG feeding. He lives in an adapted property with his family, loves football and enjoys spending time with them. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.
