Job summary

CCH's Maidstone Complex SCP is seeking a compassionate care worker to support a young adult with complex needs in Detling near Maidstone. You will provide direct care, assist with PEG feeds, medication administration, and monitor health in a home setting.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to location. We offer comprehensive training, a DBS check, career progression, and a family-friendly environment with opportunities to grow within the care team.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.
• Experience with PEG feeds, medication administration, or seizure monitoring is advantageous.
• Intermittent catheter care, suctioning, PEJs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Care for a non-verbal client with brain injury and complex needs.
• Administer PEG feeds and medications.
• Monitor client for seizures and overall condition.
• Engage with the client and family, maintain a safe, attentive home environment.
