Job description

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse in South East Kent who supports patients in the community with complex health needs? Are you fully experienced in providing tracheostomy care, ventilation and gastrostomy care?

If you’re looking for continuity in your community role, this opportunity is for you!

The Role:
Working as aRapid Response Day Nursewithin the complex care team at Superior Healthcare, you will clinically support our clients in their own homes when their regular team members are unable to provide support.
You will work with clients with a wide variety of life-limiting conditions, including conditions from birth, degenerative conditions, spinal injuries and brain injuries, as well as those requiring interventions such as ventilations, gastrostomy and bowel management.

You will need to have experience with both Adult and Paediatric Complex Care Clients.

Working Hours:

You will benefit from contracted hours working over a set 2-week rolling rota, consisting of 3 days in Week 1 and 4 days in Week 2. As well as directly supporting the clients, you may find yourself assisting with the training and induction of Healthcare Assistants or Nurses to provide greater support and contingency for the clients we support.

Location:
Supporting our clients across Ashford, Folkestone, Deal, Sandwich, Ramsgate, Margate, Canterbury and Herne Bay. You will also be able to claim back mileage after a 20 mile round trip!

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional person-centred care.

Requirements

  • Experienced in providing support for client's with tracheostomy, ventilators and PEG.
  • Ability to fit seamlessly into the family home setting.
