I am a young lady living in Earlsheaton, Dewsbury, in an adapted bungalow. I have very complex medical conditions and require skilled and dedicated complex care assistants to join my team. Despite my challenges, I enjoy life to the fullest!
If you work for me, you will assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing, basic domiciliary duties, meal prep, and more skilled tasks like JEJ tubes, injections, syringe drivers, and IV line care (training provided).
You will also chat with me, participate in activities like baking, knitting, fused glass making in my home kiln, and other hobbies I enjoy.
While I need significant help, I value some independence. You will be trained in all aspects of the role, with guidance from me. There will be times when I am sleeping, and you will have downtime, or I may want you to sit and watch TV or chat.
You will become part of a wider team of PAs. Previous PAs have gained new skills in care, clinical tasks, and hobbies like knitting, glassmaking, and baking, which you will also learn and get to sample the results.
This position offers a highly varied role, providing 1:1 support and making a difference in my life.
