Job summary

Unicare Complex Care Specialist Ltd in Leatherhead is hiring a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support clients with complex clinical needs at home. The role focuses on personal care, manual handling, PEG feeding, and medication administration, with shifts 4pm-8pm and seasonal 11am-7pm.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving license with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Previous experience as an HCA in a complex or intensive care environment.
• Desirable experience with tracheostomy care and ventilation (clinical support provided).

Responsibilities

• Manual Handling: Safely moving and handling the client using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Personal Care: Providing comprehensive personal care while respecting the client's dignity and independence.
• PEG Feeding and Medication: Assisting with PEG feeding and medication administration.
• Medication Administration: Administering prescribed medications as directed.
