Position: Complex Care Assistant required – between Harrogate and Leeds
To join the team, candidates must have experience and skills in the use of hoists and slings, administration of medication, gastrostomy feeding, use of suction equipment and nebuliser, and awareness of care and support for epilepsy. The role involves supporting a 25-year-old male with complex needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, communication, and learning difficulties.
The team provides care on an adaptable rota basis, including waking nights (typically 7:30 pm to 8:30 am, minimum 1 night per week) and daytime hours (typically 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm), with some weekends. Support and training will be provided where required, with induction or refreshers as needed. Applicants must have a current full driving licence.
