Alcedo Care is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant for night shifts in Wrexham, Chirk, Ruabon and Llangollen. The role offers pay of £15.50–£16.00/hr with pension and holiday pay, plus the chance to earn more through bonuses and flexible hours.

You will support clients with complex needs, gain training through our team, and have access to DBS checks and care-specific development. Join a values-driven family with a national footprint.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support.
• Be comfortable working nights for complex care.
• Ability to work with clients with complex health needs with support from nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs.
• Assist with medication, mobility, meals and daily tasks.
• Work under the supervision of in-house Registered Nurses and training team.

Excellent rates of pay £15.50 - £16.00 per hour + Pension + Holiday Pay (equivalant to £17.89 - £18.47 per hour including holiday pay & pension)

Expected average hours - 20 to 40 hours plus per week.

About The Role

To work with us as a Complex Care Assistant, you’ll need to have at least 3 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support – this helps us make sure you’re confident and ready to support our clients with more advanced needs.

The Complex Care Assistant Role at Alcedo Care involves delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders. You’ll be fully supported with expert training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and our training team, giving you the confidence to excel in your role. From specialist care such as PEG, suction and tracheostomy support to assisting with medication, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks, you’ll develop skills that truly make a difference.
