Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking a Female Complex Care Assistant to support a child 1:1 during overnight shifts in Ilkley. The role involves providing both medical and emotional support to ensure the child feels safe, included, and empowered, both at home and when attending school.
As a Complex Care Assistant, you'll play a vital part in a young person's life by providing tailored, person-centred care, including personal and medical care during night shifts. You'll also be responsible for escorting the child to and from school, monitoring and supporting their clinical needs, and liaising with family members and care professionals to ensure continuity of care.

About the RoleAs a Complex Care Assistant, you'll play a vital part in a young person's life—providing both medical and emotional support. Your role will ensure they feel safe, included, and empowered, both at home and when attending school.
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering tailored, person-centred care
Providing personal and medical care during night shifts
Escorting the child to and from school when required
Monitoring and supporting clinical needs with full training
Liaising with family members and care professionals to ensure continuity of care
We welcome candidates with experience or willingness to be trained in:
Tracheostomy care
Suctioning (oral, tracheal, and nasopharyngeal)
Enteral & PEG feeding
Oxygen therapy
A caring, patient, and reliable individual
Experience with children or in a complex care setting
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Willingness to complete training and continuous development
Full clinical training in all care needs
